Note: the 'mono' binary, both in 0.24 and 0.25 is mini, the new JIT
compiler. There is no mini binary (it was never released as such, in
fact). So my guess is that the mono you're running and saying it works
fine is really mini and the mini you ran is and old version with some
installation issues. Hopefully you running mono --version will clear it
up. If not, I still guess it's a local issue on your machine, because
I tryed your test and it works correctly for me both on linux and
windows.
