Just tried it with .Net. When the port name starts with "\\.\" .Net throws an
exception stating that the port name should not start with a "\".

In mono 2.10 an exception is thrown as well.

When the port name is normal (COM10) .Net works but mono throws an exception:
"The port 'COM10' does not exist.
