I wanted to add on to this because I think it may be a similar issue.  I'm
running monodevelop 2.4 and mono 2.6.7 on Mac OS X 10.6.  When I perform the
steps above, monodevelop starts and stops with no visible output.  I captured
the monodevelop application output below, and have tried this from a fresh
reboot. - Jim
