I installed mono-2.6.7 with the latest monotools-server-gui-2.0.7180-1.1 on
opensuse 11.3 (the same machine that is failing with mono-2.8p1) and I was able
to run an application remotely just fine so it looks like it's definitely a 2.8
issue and not a opensuse 11.3 issue.
