Rodrigo, the error message you get seems to come from fsc.exe (F# compiler).
However, the bug only appears in fsi.exe (F# interactive). Please try:
mono bin/fsi.exe test.fs

You can also run it interactively:
mono bin/fsi.exe

then, enter the code, followed by ";;" and press return.

I still have this bug in F# 2.0 build 1.9.9.9.
