The following steps should yield a better log of the error on Linux:

- Close the MonoTools tray icon.
- Open a terminal window.
- Run 'monovs-server'.
- Try again.

This should leave an error in the terminal window.

The remote machine is required to run rpmbuild, the program that creates Linux
RPM's.
