I'm not sure what caused the Mono Tools for Visual Studio instance to start
prompting me for an activation code, but I've only been using it for about
three weeks and the version I have is a 5 user license. What is different
about how I'm using it is I'm working remotely from my normal working
environment. Even after getting on my company's VPN, it still kept prompting
for an activation code. I think I've described the order in which I caused
this to happen, but I may be a little off.
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mono Tools for Visual Studio while attached to defined domain
2. Activate Mono Tools
3. Detach from the domain
4. Close all VS instances
5. Open VS instance that cannot get reconnected to Team Foundation Server (or
domain I guess)
6. Change project from Debug to Release, then Build
7. Revert back to Debug
8. Try to running any of the Mono menu items (activation dialog should occur)
Actual Results:
Can't use already activated Mono Tools instance
Expected Results:
The opposite
Question, if my company bought a 1 year 5 user license, will we only be able to
"activate" 5 times?
