So it compiles fine using MD for me. The issue is that the MD solution is
synch-ed to the makefiles. So any change in the "main" build system is
replicated in MD builds.

However you did not run autogen.sh in mono-tools. So your project files cannot
be updated with the new files - hence your build failure.

Also I cannot commit your patch, or even my local MD projects diffs, since it
would break the VS build used to create the installer. I have to figure out a
way to make them co-exist better.

Anyway to solve your problem you must check out cecil (like I said in the
email), check out mono-tools (not just gendarme) and run autogen.sh. Then
you'll be able to build, without problems, Gendarme using MD.
