I updated my uia2atk to revision 123000 which corresponds to the module as it
existed when this bug was reported (newer versions no longer work) and tried
MonoDevelop with and without the MONO_NEW_RX variable and can not reproduce
this problem anymore.

Perhaps the bug was elsewhere and it merely happened to affect Mono's new regex
when running inside MonoDevelop.   

I am turning this on by default, and if we find problems, we can try to create
a new test case. 

I tested that no new regressions were introduced by running Mono's test suite
and by running the Silverlight's test suite provided by Microsoft.
