Actually I think the backcolor of the ToolStrip and children depends totally on
the Windows theme. See my attached screenshots using both the default green and
silver themes (with the blue one I get what you got).

That means, however, that we are not detecting and using the proper color to
paint the background of our ToolStrip instances.
