This critical bug is now open since 2008.
I need this NotifyIcon on MacOSX. It's very important for an application which
should be ported from C++ to Mono.
Without the NotifyIcon the port is a no go.

Maybe someone can provide a workaround with Pinvokes on Darwin to set up a
NotifyIcon? Or provide information where to find the correct native methods for
the NotifyIcon ?
