Gabriel's changes in the upstream beagle will be required in order for beagle
to index any files in the user home directory or any other configured folder. 
Most of the backends fail to load because of this exception and only the
system-static-indexes and backends will work.

Marc: In the 2.6.4 build, have we disabled deprecated symbols through any
configure flags?
