Summary: DragDrop on DesignSurface doesn't seem to work
Classification: Mono
Product: Mono: Class Libraries
Version: 2.4.x
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: System
AssignedTo: mono-bugs at lists.ximian.com

testcase: ToolBoxService.cs and Unnamed.cs
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1;
Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR
3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 4.0.20506)
In the appended testcase, when selecting "Button" on the left and clicking on
the DesignFrame on the right in MS.Net the Button gets created/inserted into
the form.
Additionally it seems that the cursor shape (IToolBoxService.Cursor) doesn't
show correct (or delayed). It should be the default shape when "<Pointer>" is
selected and it should show a cross when "Button" is selected.
I've used the given patch for #537131
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compile and run appended testcase
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Button doesn't get created.
Cursor shape is incorrect.
Expected Results:
Button should be inserted at the clicked position.
Cursor shape should be as described.
Using release version on Mono 2.4.2.3 and patch given in #537131
(System.Design)
Applies to OpenSUSE 11.1 too.
