I think this may be related to bug #536820.

Do you have a Setup project (or any other non VB/C# project) in your solution?

If so, can you try removing them from the solution and see if it fixes the
issue?

I think I've committed a fix for this for the next beta, but would appreciate
if you could try this workaround and let me know.
