Meanwhile we have als tried a present svn built (mono-135174). Instead of
hanging in an endless loop the application does now immediately crash with a
SIGABRT. The console output is as follows:
# /usr/local/bin/mono HelloWorld.exe

** ERROR **: file threads.c: line 4005 (get_execution_context_addr): assertion
failed: (offset)

Native stacktrace:

    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x10087748]
    /lib/libc.so.6(abort+0xdc) [0xfb4efb4]
    /usr/local/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_log+0) [0xfef2158]
    /usr/local/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_log+0x6c) [0xfef21c4]
    /usr/local/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0(g_assert_warning+0x8c) [0xfef2264]
    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x1010d53c]
    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x1010d554]
    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x1010f82c]
    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x10178350]
    /usr/local/bin/mono [0x101a3d80]
    /lib/libpthread.so.0 [0xfda4a6c]
    /lib/libc.so.6(clone+0x84) [0xfbec8a0]

Debug info from gdb:

Got a SIGABRT while executing native code. This usually indicates
a fatal error in the mono runtime or one of the native libraries
used by your application.
