Steve, frankly, I don't like to do this kind of changes. This creates a sort of
a contract between us and .NET for internals, which I'd rather avoid. The
runtime check is easy and the issue is easily worked around, so I'd rather
leave it as it is. Also, your problem looks like it should be solvable on the
Telerik side - the more reason not to "fix" it on the Mono side.
