2.0.x series are actually old. With 2.4 preview 1 I get:

1. Form2 shows up
2. The button is pressed and the mentioned dialog appears as expected (not
behind).
3.The dialog is cloased, then Form2.
4. Appears Form1

So, everything works as .net.
