Since you did not provide a test case, I have to guess what the problem is, and
most likely the problem is this:

http://www.mono-project.com/ThreadPool_DeadLocks

You can work around that issue by increasing the number of threads in the
threadpool, see the manual page (man mono) for details on how to do this.
