Steps to reproduce:
 - http://www.markdawson.org/kit3d/demos/photos/default.html

Expected results:
 - user should see 6x6 grid of images of various z orders.
 - as mouse moves over images, the current image comes to the foreground and is
slightly enlarged.


Actual results:
 - only a black canvas appears.
