Tried the work around in the link that you provided.  Unfortunately it did not
work and the windows appear the same as before.  Reading further in the thread
I have v1.9 of libgdiplus which is the same version as the mono I have
installed.  The other thing is that the fonts I am using in the application are
the standard font that is the default in Visual Studio.  So I don't think this
is quite the same as the bug you referred me to.
