Options from an installer perspective:

1.  Remove ncurses from the installer and hope the host system has a version
that works with the debugger.

2.  Populate LD_LIBRARY_PATH with /lib:/usr/lib append <installdir>/lib to
LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

3.  Provide two versions of ncurses for the debugger
