+Did some more digging and found the cause of the problem.

+It's a bug in NUnit 2.4 Beta 2 that only surfaces if you have no 
+items in the recent projects list. I'll report it to the NUnit team.

+I get the same issue on MS.NET , but there a dialog box is shown 
+that contains all details of the issue.
