 Because this is not an XSP bug. If you run XSP under MS runtime, this
 works. If you ever find a bug for xsp or mod_mono, they have their our
 component under Mono-Tools.

+Just a commnet.  I've been trying to port a couple of large asp.net 
+applications to mono, and from what I've seen, this is probably the 
+most common bug I get.  Getting this bug fixed would help greatly in 
+porting existing applications to mono.  In the meantime, is there a 
+quick workaround?  I realize that in simple cases you can often find 
+a workaround, but what if there's a lot of code inside the embedded 
+asp tags?
