[Mono-aspnet-list] ASP.NET 4.0 runtime on debian ubuntu

Recent releases are available at http://badgerports.org/ for certain
Ubuntu versions.

Before Jo upgraded the packages for badgerports, I compiled from
source, and installed into /opt. Getting Apache + mod_mono to play
nice with the alternate location took a while.

The upcoming release of Ubuntu has Mono 2.10.5 included. Chances are high, that your web service works using an older version of Mono.
