[Gtk-sharp-list] how to add a gtk# reference in Visual Studio?

Can someone advise how I can build apps against GTK# in Visual Studio. I'm
finding it maddening that I can't find simple and recent docs to show me
how.

The best I can seem to find is this one, which references VS 2003!
http://www.mono-project.com/Gtk-Sharp_Installer_for_.NET_Framework

I've installed mono-3.2.3-gtksharp-2.12.11-win32-0.exe, but I don't know
what to do after that. When I try to add a VS reference, I can't find any
Mono or GTK# libraries unless I browse into C:\Program Files
(x86)\Mono-3.2.3\lib, which seems questionable. Am I expected to do this?
Doesn't the installer put these dlls in the GAC?

What am I missing here? Why isn't this easy?
