[Gtk-sharp-list] Save Pixbuf as 1 bit binary or 8 bit greyscale image

I've got a Pixbuf which I want to save as a

1 bit binary or 8 bit greyscale image. I've tried searching for ages but I
can't seem to find any way to do it. Is this possible to do?
