Yes this would suffice, if I could tell a menubar to work vertically rather
than horizontally... ? I suppose one *could* have a menu with only one
top-level option (something sensible like "Menu...") however this is a bit
of a hack to do something that is surely supported properly somewhere in
there. :-)
