[Gtk-sharp-list] Why TreeViewColumn.OnClicked is protected?

Hi,

I'm just wondering why TreeViewColumn.Onclicked is protected?  Making
it public would be more pleasant.  What is the reason it's protected?

Subclassing TreeViewColumn and overriding OnClicked does the trick by
the way, but it's still irritating.
