I have previously heard of the Novell license, but haven't been able
to find any traces of it. If there is such a license, it is not listed
among the open source licenses (http://www.opensource.org/licenses/).

Yes, you are right.

You are right again. I was fooled by misreading the wording of the
about box in my MD.  Anyway, I have already asked the license question
(what we where trying to do and everything) to the monodevelop mailing
list and I should get a reply any moment. I will tell you when I get
it.
