Working on building some Solaris 8 packages (using Sun's GNOME
packages)... have mono 1.0.1 built, and was working on gtk#.
Several components errored during configure:
checking for libgda >= 1.0.0... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package libgda was not found in the pkg-config search path.
No package 'libgda' found
checking for librsvg-2.0 >= 2.0.1... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package librsvg-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
No package 'librsvg-2.0' found
checking for libgtkhtml-3.0 >= 3.0.10... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package libgtkhtml-3.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
No package 'libgtkhtml-3.0' found
checking for libgtkhtml-3.1 >= 3.1.12... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package libgtkhtml-3.1 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
No package 'libgtkhtml-3.1' found
checking for vte >= 0.11.10... sh: gnome-config: not found
sh: gnome-config: not found
Package vte was not found in the pkg-config search path.
No package 'vte' found
(You can ignore the gnome-config errors as they're backwards
compatibility attempts... which threw me for a bit.)
Are any of these really critical pieces to the point where I should
build packages for these first (in addition to or replacing what comes
with Sun's GNOME packages), or should I just go ahead and build gtk#
without them?
Sun does have gtkhtml-2.0 but apparently that isn't supported by gtk# at
this point.
