I'm wondering if it would be difficult to wrap the bindtextdomain and PO
file stuff.  It would be great to have a class that supports the glade
format of saving language strings to a separate file included in this.  

Maybe someone with a bit more understanding of binding the C libraries
could suggest a few options or give a pointer or two so we could get
this to work.

Maybe this is the wrong way to go about it altogether, I don't know.
