Thanks for the tip :)

I've attached a patch "localdesklet.diff" this would need to be applied at
the root of the moon directory.

Basically I added a LoadLocal method to the Moonlight host which is used to
read a local AppManifest.xaml. You would still need to generate the
AppManifest.xaml which references your xaml assemblies, but it does allow
you to use assemblies outside of a xap file.

I'm attaching Tony's example reworked to use the new LoalLocal method and
the assiciated AppManifest.xaml
