[MonoTouch] iPad app built with mt5.0.3 runs fine on ipad2 but very slow on ipad3

If I had to hazard a guess:

arm6 vrs arm7 (old ones will be arm6, tho I'd say lots of people would
have issues there ....)

Are you moving a LOT of pixels around? Or generating large images?
'cos now you are moving 4x of them around.

What does the app do?

Isn't there an online / SAAS type place that rents mac minis with MT
on it? Might be able to use the simulator version on there
