Hi, 

I have similar problem as I interface to json.net. Perhaps some light can be
shed?? 

Current installed software: 
Monodevelop 2.8.1, Mono framework 2.10.6, Monotouch 5.0, Xcode 4.2, ios 5
sdk, Json.NET 4.0 Release 3
