[MonoTouch] Interface Builder- no header file generated

I have upgraded my project to the latest version of MonoDevelop and am using
all the latest versions of the framework and Xcode etc. and am having
problems with Interface builder.

In my project, I have added a new "iPhone View Controller" which added a
.XIB and .CS and .Designer files to my Monodevelop project.

However, when launched in interface builder, there is no associated
objective-c header file to allow me to add outlets/actions from the new
View. 

(fyi - there was a appdelegate.h there previously, and that has not been
generated either - but there are other .h files for other Xib files).

I have done exactly the same with a clean test project and added an "iPhone
View Controller" and that does create the header file in interface-builder.

Is this a bug? Is there a work-around for this? How does Monodevelop decide
what XIB files should have header files generated for it?
