[MonoTouch] Application Loader error after MD 2.8 build - Icons missing extensions

I had this same issue, even in 2.4. Sometimes I had to rename the icons, and
completely delete the "release" folder that's generated by MT and have it
start fresh.

That's not scientific, I know. But it seemed to work for me.
