[MonoTouch] MD 2.8 - the new update process

I usually only install the stable updates, but I like to keep an eye on the
alpha/beta releases just so I know what's out there.  So I turned on the
alpha/beta channels in MD.

A couple of observations:

   - make auto-download an option.  If an alpha/beta update is downloaded
   automatically, there is a greater chance I will accidentally install it when
   I didn't intend to
   - the download dialog does not identify if an update is alpha/beta/stable
   - this should be explicitly labelled
   - the download dialog shows the version number of the update, but after
   the download completes the install dialog does not.  It just shows which
   package, but not the version (unless you click on Details).  Again, clearly
   labeling with the version and channel would be really useful
