[MonoTouch] XCode 4 / MonoDevelop 2.6

I have installed XCode 4 and Monotouch v2.8 Beta (trial), but I have a
problem with the outlets. 
I have tried to follow the tutorial here

can't seem to get it to work.

I have opened AppDelegate.h and ctrl+drag a label to the AppDelegate.h. It
shows the blue connector as in the video, but it doesn't seem like I can
attatch it to the AppDelegate. 

Do any of you know what might be wrong?
