[MonoTouch] XIB issue with XCode

Hi

Just updated MonoDevelop to 2.8.4.1 through the update option in
MonoDevelop, but now I cannot open XIB files as it states that I need Xcode
4.2 ( I currently have XCode 4.1)

Is there a way round this (I have tried going back to an older version of
MonoDevelop (2.8 and 2.8.4), but I get the same error).

Help!!! (will installing Xcode 4.2.1 resolve the issue?)
