[MonoTouch] custom object serialization from monotouch using NSUserDefaults?

Is it possible? NSCoder doesn't seem to have the methods I except. What are
folks doing here? I wrote my own little serializer, but it's prefer to use
the real one.

 

Or, is there another way to get custom object serialization into user
settings besides NSUserDefaults? I'm open.
