Wally you get two years of updates instead of one if you were on the beta and buy before the 30th of October. You need to send an email to Novell I think.

If you want to continue receiving updates after the year is up, will there be a discounted price, or will it be another $399 for each subsequent year? If it'll be discounted, are there any initial ideas about what that discount will be?. I know it's early days, but before I make the leap I'd like some idea of what kind of long-term investment I'm letting myself in for. That is correct, you are entitled to use the product after the update subscription runs out. While we have not announced upgrade pricing yet, we have announced that it will be significantly reduced.
