[mono-android] Low/Medium/High resolution

I have a version of my icon in the various *dpi subfolders of drawable,
following the guidelines.
However, if I don't also put a copy in the top level drawable folder, VS
2012 gives me a compiler error "no resource found that matches..."
Is this a bug?
Or do I need to place a copy here too? Developing a native java app I
don't...
