[mono-android] this.GetExternalFilesDir(null) returns null

Urgh - found my own answer - seems I was missing a permission, as described
in this bug: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=22668

Nothing wrong with M4A here, it's Android that's not throwing the usual
exception when you try to do something for which your app doesn't have
permission. Now I can even debug my app..
