[mono-android] Get a notification after a new photo / video was shot?

Hi !

I startet ADB logcat for my device and I can find some events: 


But I´m not sure if I could hook up to these events with my own application.

That was my first thought, too. But I think that it would be really battery
consuming to poll always on the folder for new files. 
Or is there something like "System.IO.FileSystemWatcher" which informs a
service app with an event that there is a new file available?
