[mono-android] Problem with Strings.xml

I am having problems with Strings.xml not being kept in sync with Main.axml
when using MonoForAndroid under Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. When I view
the layout in the designer, I see that the button text does not match the
Strings.xml then if I build I get the message that strings.xml has been
modified outside of the editor. When I build and run the project the button
text on the device looks okay but back in the designer they are still wrong.
Is this a known issue ?
