[mono-android] Obtaining the GPS co-ordinates

Hi,

Is there a simple way to gather the GPS co-ordinates for an Android
device using monodroid and monotouch?

Second to this, I know that Xamarin have put a lot of work into the
cross platform code sharing stuff, but does it extend down to accessing
Google Maps? For example, say I hit an icon any 3 platform - I know the
UI event handling is different, but will a call to Google Maps be
handled in the same way?
