I see. Not used for so much help so got a bit confused...
Dialog uses words like: New and latest...
So got carried away

Mea maxima culpa: I read only subject "Mono for Android 4.0.3 Release 
Available"
skipped word "beta" in the body...

For me it is OK. I'm trying to resolve other issue with F5 (Start 
Debugging) disappearing,
so I installed, removed, ccleaned 4.0.1 several times and gave a shot 
with 4.0.3.
We are not under pressure, learning and trying to give You feedback 
along the way...
