I've asked the web team if they can add a link to that somewhere.

In VS, Help -> About Visual Studio -> Install products

Visual Studio is still supported, the plugin is automatically installed 
if you have VS2010 installed.

I passed this on the installer guy.  Apparently the installer never 
mentions Visual Studio.  It would be nice if it did.
