[mono-android] httpwebrequest timeout android 4.0

Hi guys, mi name is Lucio, im from Argentina, and this is my first time in
the list.
Im having an issue with an android 4.0 tablet.
My app, usually downloads data from an ftp server, using and ftpwebrequest.
The app works fine on a android 2.2 phone (motorola milestone 2 ) and on
every
simulated android os.
But on the Lenovo tablet K1 it works until the app has to download the
data, after it tries...
the getResponse method throws a timeout error.

Any Ideas??
