[mono-android] debugging with VS

I've just noticed today that it seems that I am having more success with the latest Mono for Android preview with regards to being able to debug in Visual Studio.  Is this just me?  I've got a new dev laptop (Macbook Pro with 4 cores and 8 gigs of ram), so that could be it as well.  However, I'm noticing things that didn't work at all previously, seem to be working.  Anyone else having more luck, or is just me?
